When you order a print

Checkout asks for your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, and records what you ordered. I use them to:

• have your print made and delivered (the carrier uses your phone number if there's a delivery problem)
• email you your order confirmation and tracking
• help with any questions, damage or reprints

Payment is handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.

Emails and the newsletter

You'll always get emails about your own order: the confirmation, the tracking number, and anything I need to tell you about it.

On each print's page there's a box to receive emails and newsletters from fiddlehead.photo. It starts ticked; untick it if you'd rather not hear from me. If you leave it ticked, I may send occasional emails about new prints and work. For orders shipping to Canada, I only add you if you ask me to. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe, or you can reply “unsubscribe” at any time.

When you get in touch

If you email me or use the contact form on the about page, I get your name, email address and whatever you tell me about your project, and use them only to reply.

Who helps run the shop

A few companies handle parts of each order, and only get what their part needs:

• Stripe takes your payment.
• Pictorem, my print lab, makes and ships your print, so it gets your name, shipping address and phone number.
• Resend sends the order and contact-form emails.
• Vercel hosts this website.

I never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies

This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Checkout happens on Stripe's own page, which uses its own cookies to process payments securely.

How long I keep it

I keep order details for as long as I need them for the order, customer service and my business and tax records. Contact-form messages stay in my inbox.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you what I have about you, correct it, or delete what I don't need to keep for my records. Write to fiddlehead.labs@gmail.com.
